Staycation at "The Seagate Hotel & Spa"

Updated: Nov 20, 2020

I had the pleasure of staying at the Seagate hotel over the past weekend! It was my first time out of quarantine and going to a hotel seemed so foreign. However the Seagate was right down the street from where I live in Delray Beach, FL. Usually I would be in Montauk, NY for the entire summer but due the pandemic, it was not feasible. Hence a staycation was everything I needed & more! The seagate hotel did everything right to make myself, my boyfriend Sean and our frenchie, Ravioli feel at home, safe and comfortable.

All staff wore masks, every time we went into the elevator someone was there cleaning the buttons before and after, there were hand sanitizer every corner you looked. Guests who checked in were given masks just incase you did not have one or needed a few extra during your stay. They did everything they could to ensure that the properties are safe, sanitary, and germ-free.

They have incorporated the Seagate Safe, there comprehensive new property-wide program in partnership with EcoLab, with more than 150 additional procedures, had been put in place to ensure the highest level of safety, sanitary and germ-free!

They have a pool, and gym on property, where social distancing was enforced, which we liked! The beach club provided safe travel by trolly, complimentary. Every other seat was labeled to keep 6ft apart! Guests of The Seagate Hotel & Spa are offered exclusive privileges to the private Seagate Beach Club, located just moments from the hotel. Outfitted in an elegant British Colonial style, the beach club is the perfect spot to spend an extraordinary day basking in the glow of the sun. Enjoy direct beach access or lounge by the beachside pool. The long list of club amenities includes oceanfront dining, towel service, beach chairs and umbrellas, cabana rentals, and a full range of water sports.

Overall the experience was great! The rooms were clean, even the remote controls had plastic coverings on them!
