My favorite trip to the Great Exumas
For my first time in the Bahamas I had the pleaseure of doing it right at the Grand Isle Resort and Spa! Located on Emerald Bay in Great Exuma, The Bahamas, Grand Isle Resort & Spa is a stunning ocean front resort. From the moment I stepped off the plane I was escorted to the resort, given a golf cart to roam the beautiful property and endless time to explore the beaches, relax and sip on a few margaritas by the two resort pools overlooking the breathtaking ocean views!
Getting around the resort is quick and convenient, as every villa is equipped with a personal golf cart. Grand Isle is one of the finest resorts in the Caribbean and is ideally suited for family holidays, romantic getaways, destination weddings and honeymoons, or for simply enjoying the beach. For me I was celebrating my boyfriend Seans 30th- so this was the perfect backdrop.
They have a full time team available at all times to help you with anything. I knew the service was going to be 5 star when I was in touch with their marketing team prior to arriving.
The restaurant and exclusive 23° North Beach Club, was perfect! We went at a time where we it wasn't as crowded so we left felt like we had our own private ISLAND! 23° North Beach Club features an oceanfront infinity pool with beach access, private cabanas, daybeds perfect for you to re-energize and an exquisite fine dining restaurant offering a unique fusion of Asian-Bahamian cuisine. On my boyfriends bday the staff even had a cake professional made with our business logos and pictures with our clients- it was an extra touch that made us feel even more special!
One of our favorite parts was the boat tour that took us to a few private islands and the famous pig Island where we got to swim with the pigs. (Fun fact, we missed the Kardashians by one day!)
What was amazing about this trip besides the relaxation, the stunning views, the access to almost everything you want on a vacation, was the wonderful staff that were so welcoming throughout the entire day!
As an event producer as my career I would 100% recommend this play for an event, a retreat and of course of destination wedding!
